Project Planner/ Scheduler, Faradast Energy Falat Co.                                        Sep. 2011 – Sep. 2015

Deputy of Project planning and scheduling management for the Star-Oil Bandar Abbas gas condensate refinery. The project includes Refinery  a 300km feed pipeline and seawater intake and had a total estimated cost of $4.5B. Duties included:

·               Participate In schedule workshops, defining Scope of work (SOP), Establishing project Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) and collecting WBS dictionary and work package definitions, Master schedule, Detailed Scheduled, Estimating resource needs and creating cost and resource loaded schedules, Schedule baselines, s-curves and cash flows and look ahead plans

·               monitor performance on sub-projects, facilitating sub-contractors schedules reviews, integrate the contractors' schedules into a high-level master schedule and evaluation and provide resolution to management team with help of Primavera P6.

·               Assisting Project Manager by tracking critical activities and responsible for smooth interface with contractor's project controls team on carrying out required updates & revision (300 vendors, 8 EPC contractors and 5 consultants) and maintenance of detailed construction schedule. 

·               Creation of multi-level interactive periodic and ad-hoc work performance reports using Primavera EPPM, and in-house PMIS (S-curves, Cost & Schedule variance and EVA forecasts, Look ahead plans, Trend analysis). Reports included Cost & Schedule variance and EVA reports, forecasts.

·               Evaluate and monitor deliverable schedules, and analyze milestones and interdependencies for conformance with contractual obligations and performing schedule analysis to come up with alternatives to minimize exposure to claims and avoid time extensions and provide alerts if necessary.

·               Conduct weekly meetings with project teams to validate progress of completed work and future activities in order to update project schedules

·               Work closely with Project Risk Specialist  to provide analyses and evaluation on schedule impacts of risks

·               Setup, and administration of Oracle’s Primavera P6 EPPM hosting sites, and train planning team, project and senior management and client how to use it effectively

Project Planner/ Scheduler , Cost Engineer, Takhsis Pars Engg. & Mgmt. Co                 Feb. 2009 - Sep. 2011

Project planner and scheduler and cost engineer for two EPC projects (CERRO AZUL cement project, Hamedan waste water treatment plant and Chabahar water treatment plant) with a total estimated cost of $300M. Duties included:

·               Gathering information from the project team to develop Master schedule, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Level 5 Project Plan (Primavera P6), administer rolling wave planning, recovery schedules, project resource allocation and manpower loading.

·               Forensic evaluation of contractor schedules, impact/delay analysis, estimating costs of delays for approval and assist in claims resolution.

·               Estimating activity resource and cost and project cost and schedule baseline for cost monitoring and schedule performance benchmarking.

·               Developing weekly, monthly and custom progress and status reports to track and communicate project progress based on critical path and earned value.

·               Conducting Risk analysis and what if analysis and highlight risk impacts to project schedule and cost and calculate.

·               Reviews and analysis project invoices to ensure accuracy and timely submission.

·               Providing look a-head schedule to ensure readiness to progress with future works.

Project Scheduler, Rahbaran Co.                                                                                           May 2008 - Feb. 2009

Project Planner/Scheduler for two projects (Gachsaran Hospital EPC project and Sanandaj Hoojestan Complex construction Project) with a total estimated cost of $100M. Duties included:

·               Working with project manager to review schedule and focus/prioritize resources to reach the targeted time lines (Using Primavera P6).

·               Identify Critical Path Activities (CPA) and near critical activities and advise project team accordingly, integrating subcontract schedules with master schedule.

·               Establishing project scope, Work breakdown structure(WBS), master and detailed schedule and project cost and schedule baseline to create control account to monitor cost and schedule.

·               Prepare and distributing weekly, biweekly and monthly status reports to Project Manager and stakeholders.

·               Report on project milestones to project manager to ensure timely completion of project requirements.

Project scheduler for Iran Railways construction program comprising of over railroad & construction project. Duties included:

·               Tracking sub-projects compliance with master plans, defining project milestones, monitoring achievements, and delivering recommendations on project schedules utilizing Primavera P3 and P6 and MS Project server.
